Village People Online Slot to be Developed by Microgaming
Microgaming announced that it has entered into a licensing deal that will see the company develop a video slot based on the iconic 70’s disco band, Village People.
Microgaming will be working with ITV Studios Global Entertainment on this development project and expect its completion in 2019. The slot will feature the groups most popular hits including Macho Man, Go West and Y.M.C.A, a song the resulted in the band being called the ‘Kings of Disco’.
Those who are fans of the Village People will find a nostalgic trip back in time that will include the band members and their classic costumes and dance moves. Joining the reels will see the Cowboy, Biker, Construction Worker and the others are the take a journey back to the 70’s as they chase big wins and rewards.
The new Village People Online Slot will join a list of other branded slots offered under the Microgaming platform such as Jurassic Park, Tomb Raider and Terminator 2. The new game is expected to be released across all platforms including mobile.
