Play’n GO reveals 24K Dragon slot

Play'n Go New 24K Dragon

Barely a week after launching the much-hyped Viking Runecraft Bingo and Rise of Athena video slot, Play’n GO is back at it yet again with another mesmerizing video slot titled 24K Dragon.

The renowned Swedish iGaming software developer in its official press release declared that the 5-reel title is its latest “payways” release. The title follows their previous release, Win-a-Beest that debuted in July and is aimed at offering iGaming aficionados a volatile and exciting experience.

Play’n GO further stated that its latest video slot endeavours to offer players a visual treat and a spectacular gaming experience, courtesy of the 3D animation that is among the highlights of the title. The studio further revealed that 24K Dragon uses colourful expanding reels to increase the payday action from 1,028 to 8,192 while simultaneously boosting the thrill factor to the next level.

What the Official Press Release Says

The studio is certain 24K Dragons will be an instant hit with both the veterans and amateur gamblers. And the video slot follows a robust narrative in the hopes of duelling against a fearsome dragon and taking home a share of its treasures. The Chief Product Officer for Play’n GO, Martin Zettergren, in the Press Release affirmed that the winged antagonist drives the narration home and the team went an extra mile to ensure the payways are drastically expanded. He also added:

“The visuals undoubtedly play a crucial role in determining the extent of how well a video slot is perceived by the players. In the early days of fruit machines, vibrant colours were used along with flashing lights to draw the players’ attention and help the game stand out in a crowd. Nowadays, animations do the trick. High-end videos and graphics enhance the entire gaming experience, and it’s vital that the designers use them as it adds to the charm of the entire video slot experience”

Features and Bonuses

The 5-reel, 4-row and 1,024-payline video slot has three central reels that can reach up to eight symbols high with a maximum of 8,192 paylines. The game offers up to 96.20% RTP while buy-ins range between 0.10 to 100 coins per spin. A bursting treasure chest is the in-game wild and substitutes all regular symbols with wilds, amplifying the stake by x2 and x4 depending on its position on the reels.

Play’n GO isn’t a stranger to variable reels and has used a similar mechanism previously in Testament and Dragon Maiden. Although the basics remain the same, part of the mechanics and features have been altered to distinguish the title from its predecessors. Landing between three and five diamond scatters trigger 8, 15, and 20 free spins while two to five scatters add 20 more spins to the tally.

The designers tried their best to distinguish 24K Dragons from some of Play’n GO’s earlier titles using the same theme and mechanics, and they’ve been largely successful.
